Chief Financial Officer

Based in Los Angeles, California and reporting directly to the President, the CFO will lead, manage and deal with a variety of strategic, operating and financial initiatives.


Essential Functions:

•Recommends and implements and controls accounting and other finance related systems, policies, procedures and internal controls

•Strategic financial planning, long-term cash flow forecasting, budgeting and business plan development

•Management of the controllership function including monthly financial statements, closing and reconciliation process and communication of results to staff and management team

•Serves as liaison to the audit firm and is responsible for the completion of the annual review and preparation of financial statements

•Oversee the preparation and review of the annual budget providing general instructions and hands-on assistance to all budgeting centers as needed

•Responsible for banking relationship and daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and collateral reporting

•Manage approximately 5 department employees
REQUIREMENTS
•Seven to ten (7-10) years financial leadership experience with an auto dealership as a Manager with a proven track record in understanding the unique aspects of accounting controls, finance and operations of a dealership.

•Strong budgeting, forecasting and cash management skills, strong analytical abilities and excellent IT background.

•Ability to think strategically, synthesize complex business/financial data and develop innovative solutions.

•Ability and aptitude for spreadsheet analysis and modeling.

•Ethics and integrity.

•Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting and Finance. CPA or MBA preferred.
