Assistant Vice President, Human Resources (EFS)
Business Unit: GE Infrastructure, Energy Financial ServicesFunction: Human ResourcesResponsibilities: * Serve as HRM for one or more key functional staff or business client groups (Operations, Finance, Portfolio Mgmt, etc.). Employees are located largely in North America, with a growing presence in Europe and Asia.
Partner with assigned functional leaders to set both long term and short term organization strategy, drive business vision, and implement strategic HR initiatives.
Lead and facilitate change efforts.
Lead Session C, salary planning, incentive compensation planning and stock option processes for assigned client groups.
Provide proactive and professional staffing, management coaching, organizational development, training, employee relations, performance management and communications for assigned client groups.
Serve as the program manager and HRM for the following key talent development programs. Responsibilities include management of all strategic and tactical issues.
Associates/Summer Associates Program (including all program design, recruiting , compensation management, assignments, training, and employee engagement/retention matters).
Analysts Program - responsibilities as defined above
Serve as the process owner for assigned key HR processes/initiatives including employee training and development along with proactive communication of myLearning/CF/GE offerings, EFS Performance Evaluation Surveys, GEOC, on-boarding process improvements including management of New Hire Orientation sessions and materials, employee data privacy training/metrics, diversity initiatives/metrics, e360s, internet/intranet HR applications etc.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: * BS/BA degree
3+ years HR experience/5+ years business experience
Strong business acumen
Leadership experience with proven ability to energize/influence others
Demonstrated ability to drive change, resolve conflict and facilitate teams
Strong coaching, counseling and assessment skillsDesired: * HRLP graduate
Corporate finance/fin'l services experience
MBA
Green Belt certified
Black Belt certified
Strong MS Office Suite skills
Oracle HR experienceGeneral: This unique position combines both HR generalist and program management/process ownership responsibilities.
