Assistant Sales Support Manager - Walden

Walden's high academic standards are demonstrated by the dedication of its faculty and staff to programs that help students make a difference in their professions, organizations, and communities.Reporting to the Sales Support Manager, the Assistant Sales Support Manager is responsible for designing communications and sales tools for a wide variety of regional field sales teams across the US. The Sales Support Specialist is the principal point of contact for the external sales teams with regard to communication and customer support.
Specific duties include:
<LIDesign and produce a variety of audience specific communications for the external sales teams, including field sales 'toolkits' for field sales representatives, alumni ambassadors, business development directors and account representatives.Work closely and collaboratively with the marketing services teams to deliver all external sales and business development projects on time and on budget.
Develop templates and coordinate the production of proposals, contracts and sales presentations.Coordinate sales contests, special offers, team training events, and team-building tools with the Regional Sales Managers.
Serve as primary contact for Laureate partner organizations with regard to joint communication projects, including partner microsites, press releases and white papers, customized collateral, event coordination, etc.Oversee the external sales fulfillment processes, and control inventory.
Assist the Sales Support Manager and Operations Manager in designing the look, feel and functionality of various online sales reporting tools.
Other duties as assigned by the Sales Support Manager
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:
<LIBachelor's degree required.
Must have impeccable writing and/or graphic design skills as demonstrated in a portfolio of prior work.
2+ years of high achievement in a marketing/sales environment as a production manager, communication manager/PR specialist or account representative. Preference will be given to those who have specific sales or marketing communications experience with outbound or field sales teams.
Prior experience with sales or marketing communications in online university environment highly desirable.
Position requires very strong organizational and time management skills plus previous newsletter and sales support writing experience.
