Advertising Sales Executive

The News-Press, Lee County’s premier daily newspaper, has an opportunity for a high-energy, results-oriented candidate in our Advertising Sales division. Ideal candidates must have the ability and strong desire to “hit the ground running” to grow advertising revenue from new and existing accounts.

This is not an entry-level sales position; we are looking for a minimum of 1 to 3 years of outside sales experience, preferable in media.

Primary responsibilities will include new business development, initiation of business strategies, and building strong relationships with our clients while analyzing their advertising and marketing needs.

REQUIREMENTS
To qualify for Outside Sales positions, you must have a high school diploma, proven track record of professional and academic achievement with a good story to tell about your sales achievements and successes. You must be an excellent communicator at all levels and have strong presentation skills.
Florida driver’s license is required along with a good driving record.
