Training & Development Manager

Duties:

Provide internal learning & development consulting services for a large facility. Delivery of classroom instruction either through personal delivery, train-the-trainer, or securing of external facilitation resources. (e.g. On-Boarding, Company University, Management Development, Performance Development, Strategic People Resourcing, etc.).

Source of instructional interventions (internally and externally). Customization/localization of sourced programs (external or corporate). Local learning and development needs analysis by plant function. Analysis of performance issues. Knowledge of engineering. Job & task design. Assist local client in planning and budgeting for development of staff. Coaching and mentoring for clients and staff. Liaison with local area technical colleges and universities for mutually beneficial relationship building. Act as a clearing house for information on corporate staff development opportunities and policies. Manage local training facilities and equipment. Maintain database of local training vendors. Provide feedback and reports to Corporate Leadership on training programs, practices and policies.
REQUIREMENTS
Must have BS degree and a Masters is preferred. Must have a strong background in the area of Learning & Development support to manufacturing, process improvement TQM and/or Six-Sigma. Classroom and instruction facilitation. Instructional systems design. Project and People Management.

Location: GA

Salary: $80K to $100K + 10% Bonus
