Telco Field Service Technician

The job -
We are seeking a qualified Telco Field Service Technician to become a vital part of our Field Services team. As a Field Service Engineer you will work in the field servicing existing accounts as well as installing new services. The successful candidate must have excellent time management skills, a strong work ethic and an eagerness to learn. This is a full-time entry level role that will become a salaried position. The work is in the South Houston and Galveston, Texas areas.

REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications –
High school diploma or better.
Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience is preferred, but not required.
Basic computer/LAN knowledge.
Solid telecom testing and trouble shooting skills.
Data/Telco cabling and knowledge of all standards, phone system cross connections, Smart Jack/DMARC Extension and Tip & Ring (POTS).
Vehicle capable of transporting and securing tools and materials.
Working laptop (Employee Purchase Program available).
Basic telecom tools (Punch Tool, Butt Set, Mod Crimper, etc.).
