Canon Business Solutions is seeking an enthusiastic, efficient and well-organized Strategic Pricing Analyst for our Lyndhurst, NJ office. Primary responsibilities include the administration and implementation of Canon pricing programs within Oracle, maintaining customer and pricing data between Canon USA and Canon Business Solutions-East, and processing pricing credit requests and claims.
Specifically, the person within this role will:
Build financial models (equipment and service) for Copier Bids that are received from the sales force.
Review the Terms and Conditions of Copier RFP.
Apply for credit from Canon USA on all deals larger than $500K in revenue.
Follow up with the Sales Rep/Sales Manager to obtain all necessary information needed to price bids properly (ex. Incumbent, Competition, Interterritorials, Copy Volume, etc.).
Create a weekly bid update to be sent out to Directors and Officers.
Put together monthly Metrics Reports based on bids/pricing requests which Strategic Pricing received during a one month period.
General profit analysis on various situational items
Create general reports for requested information (ex. Bid Loss Autopsy, S-Level Analysis, etc.).
Update financial model cost data.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this busy environment, you must be able to prioritize, multi-task, show initiative and utilize good judgment. The position requires a patient and friendly disposition at all times, as you will be communicating with Sales Management and Sales Representatives. Organization skills are a must, as you will be interfacing daily with all levels of management and personnel to effectively process pricing program requests and other bid support responsibilities.
Bachelors Degree desired (preferably within Finance, Business Management/ Administration, Economics, or related field)
3+ years related pricing experience
Detail oriented, articulate, and well-organized
Heavy Microsoft Office background, particularly Excel, required
Prior Oracle experience is a plus
