Responsibilities: Intern will have the opportunity to gain hands on experience and learn about the day-to-day operations of the Production Department within WGN-TV. Duties will include assisting producers with event pre-production work and assisting on various remote productions; parades, telethons and special events. Additionally interns will assist with screening and dubbing tapes, maintaining tape library and general office duties, i.e. copying, filing, answering phones. Candidate must be organized and possess good interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Word and Excel helpful.

Requirements: Undergraduate (junior/senior standing) or graduate students attending an accredited university. Students must be able to obtain college credit for the internship.

DURATION/HOURS: Must be able to work a minimum of 20* hours per week during a 13-week period.

FALL (September – December)
WINTER/SPRING (January – April)
SUMMER (May – August)
