Printer Operator - Temporary

Duties and Responsibilities:
This position operates high-speed production printer to prepare jobs for mailing according to specific client instructions. Prepares documents for specific client instructions.
Maintains confidentiality of CDS and its clients’ proprietary information.
Operates and maintains production standards determined by management on the IBM Laser printer.
Performs quality checks and reasonability checks on jobs and follows special instructions.
Sets up equipment to ensure documents are processed correctly.
Performs minor adjustments and maintenance to the machines as necessary.
Completes jobs appropriately using the On-line system or by filling out necessary paperwork.
Reports problems to direct supervisor for proper documentation and reporting.
Interacts in cooperative and professional manner, with all levels of employees, vendors and/or clients, in a team environment.
Reacts to change and remains productive.
Organizes tasks and resources to complete work and meet deadlines according to established departmental procedures.
Acquires and adopts new information in changing technical environment.
Adheres to CDS attendance policies; reports to work station as directed (by Management).
Follows all CDS ergonomic and safety policies.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications Desired:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Basic verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to compare documents.
Ability to make independent decisions.
Ability to analyze and make adjustments to production jobs.
Ability to find solutions for and report problems.
Average organizational skills.
