Job Responsibilities:
Prospecting and calling on end users of liquid-handling equipment in a defined territory.
Your main focus will be to introduce them to Semler’s full product line and services, to assist in the development of custom proprietary systems and help to identify problems and propose solutions.
You’ll meet with business owners and decisionmakers as well as work with R&D, QA and manufacturing support engineers to design process solutions.
This position requires you to be self-motivated and goal oriented to establish a firm grasp of the marketplace and determine what is necessary to increase sales.
An understanding of or some experience with technical liquid-handling applications would be beneficial.
After a period of training at our Franklin Park, Illinois location, you will be working out of your home-based office (with the exception of the weekly meeting, in-house vendor training; etc.).

Job Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
One to two years selling experience; capital equipment sales success a plus.
Ability to communicate on a technical level to assist the customer and potential clients with application solutions to profitably sell our products and services.
Ability to comprehend and present technical applications in English, both verbally and in writing, as needed.
