Occupational Health & Environment Safety Tech

Job Description: Occupational Health and Environmental Safety needs short-term testing support to conduct performance testing of several of its Reflective Materials.This position will require the applicant to:|| sew or thermally laminate reflective materials on various fabrics to create samples || repeatedly launder and assess samples for aesthetics and possibly brightness || complete performance testing of samples under challenging, but controlled, environment.HOURS:During the training/transition period, the position may start as low as 20 hrs / week, but will ramp up to 40 hrs / week shortly. The program is suspected to last about 3-4 months. Some flexibility in daily scheduling would be appreciated, as we have limited laundering facilities and need to maximize the time on the washers.


Requirements:

This position will require the successful applicant to be very reliable in schedule and ability to track details, willing to learn new test methods, and very good at documenting and communicating results very carefully.
