Candidates MUST be of at least Junior standing in college or university. Broadcast Journalism/Communications majors preferred. Responsibilities: Intern will assist in researching long and short-term story ideas, as well as assist in building a diverse base of contacts and expert sources. Intern should be a self-starter, with great interest in current events and local government. You will talk with attorneys, celebrities, politicians, and other newsmakers; follow-up on newspaper clippings; and generate future story ideas for our reporters. Requires excellent phone, computer, and communication skills.
