Marketing - Pharmaceuticals Assistant Brand Manager- Internship

We offer exciting, challenging internships in Pharmaceuticals Marketing to outstanding 1st year MBA students who demonstrate the desire and ability to be tomorrow's business leaders.  You'll have a real "hands-on" experience in leading substantive projects which have meaningful impact on the brand's business.

 

From day one, you'll be immersed in opportunities as an Assistant Brand Manager of a Brand Team in our Pharmaceuticals Division.  Working at P&G's innovative Health Care Research Center, you may work on a leadership brand like Actonel (osteoporosis), Asacol (ulcerative colitis), or Enablex (overactive bladder).  Or, you may be assigned to an upstream brand in one of our core strategic focus areas.  You'll work on issues important to the brand's success in the marketplace and lead projects that influence major brand strategy decisions.

 

You'll also have the opportunity to gain high-level insight into the company and Pharmaceuticals industry through interactions with skilled professionals in Product Development, Sales, Finance, Market Research, and some of the world's leading advertising, medical education and public relations agencies.

 

The Pharmaceutical Division at P&G is one of the fasted growing and most profitable areas of the company.  AG Lafley, CEO, has on numerous occasions referred to the impact that Health Care will have on the future of P&G.  The Pharmaceutical Division is very entrepreneurial in nature yet also has the strength and support of a $60+ billion company.  The division is part of a broader Health Care group which includes Personal Health Care (Prilosec, Vicks, etc.) and Oral Care (Crest, Oral B, etc.).  As an intern, you will be trained and coached with a broader group of interns from these parts of Health Care.


1st year MBA study with proven success in work and academic environments, exhibiting strong leadership by envisioning, setting direction, and enrolling others; collaboration especially in cross-functional environments; critical thinking and problem solving; creativity and innovation; initiative and follow-through; strong written and oral communication skills; priority setting.

At P&G, Intern/Co-Op sessions are considered temporary employment, with a predicted ending point.  No full-time employment commitments are made; however, depending on satisfactory completion of certain criteria, candidates may be considered for full-time positions upon graduation.
