Manager I - HR (Manager, Training & Development)

Titan Req. No.: TOSHR09Duties/Responsibilities:Plans, develops and organizes programs to train and develop personnel. Analyses training needs and prepares special courses and related materials. Develops criteria to measure the effectiveness of training and development programs. Develops programs of instruction and lesson plans. Recommends methods and techniques relating to training and development of personnel to meet job requirements and enhance employee skills. Responsible for tracking training requirements and completion of training by individual employees. Recommends to management and supervisory personnel on employee training and development needs. This position may work closely with Accessions or Pre-Deployment Training Department in the training of Site Management and Linguist Candidates. Interpret training policies, purposes, goals and objectives of the Company for subordinates.
Monitor cost and ensure all deliverables are on schedule and meet requirements within budget.
Provide competent, organized, well-presented training and education programs for information systems or user personnel.
Provide work direction and technical advice to trainers (Train the trainers).
Coordinate with IT to ensure delivery of training modules on the company intranet.Education and Experience Requirements:This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree (in a related field) or equivalent experience (4-6 years) and 6 plus years’ experience in training and development as a training manager (to include managing the development of course and instructional materials). Individual must possess strong oral and written communication skills.
