Department: Information TechnologySchedule: PRN (On-Call As Needed)Shift: Variable shiftJob Details: Attending college in an IT related field United Medical Center is accepting applications for college internships in Information Technology. These internships are available for college freshman, sophomores, juniors, and seniors and is great opportunity for students to learn about Information Technology careers in Health Care. While at United Medical Center interns will be exposed to various aspects of information technology including networking, support desk, and telecommunications.Students will need to be in good standing academically and have a letter of reference from a teacher or a current employer.The internships are paid at a rate of $11.00 per hour. Positions can be full or part time and the work hours will vary depending on the student's academic schedule. Students who are offered employment will begin work with a Hospital orientation. Internships last for one semester or throughout the summer.
