Atlantic Traffic & Design Engineers, Inc. (ATDE), a Civil Engineering firm specializing in the field of Traffic & Transportation Engineering is accepting applications for the position of an Entry Level Traffic/Transportation Engineer at our Long Island, NY office

Responsibilities would include but are not limited to: Preparation of Traffic Impact Analyses (including conduct of field work/traffic counts, projection of traffic volumes, trip generation/distribution, level of service calculations, etc.); NYSDOT Highway Access Permit Acquisition (coordination activities including meeting with NYSDOT personnel client, and consulting professionals); Parking Demand/Feasibility Studies; Geometric Roadway Design; Traffic Signal/Electrical Construction Design; AUTOTURN Software Utilization; HCS – Highway Capacity Software Utilization; Traffic Control Plan; Traffic Signal Coordination; AutoCAD; Microsoft Office Software Utilization.

Successful candidate should possess 1-2 years full-time experience and/or summer internship experience. Engineer-In-Training (EIT) Certification preferred.
