Entry Level Field Technician

The Optus Field Technician is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining data and telecommunications systems and networks. Heshe will provide remote and on-site support to Optus customers. The Optus Field Technician is centrally dispatched and required to provide detailed information regarding the resolution of service tickets as they are completed.
REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will have some experience working with PBX and key systems, NEC experience preferred. Working knowledge of T1, ISDN, and PRI configurations and set up are a plus. Heshe will possess basic networking skills which include an understanding of IP addressing and LANWAN components. Working knowledge of various Windows desktop OS and Windows Server systems is required.

Certifications such as NEC product, A+, MCP,CCNA, or other professional achievements are preferred.

Must be self-motivated and require little direct supervision. Must also be a team player with a positive attitude and demonstrate exceptional customer service skills. The ability to multi-task, work within deadlines, and support on-going continuous improvement initiatives is required.
