Entry Level Engineer
Entry Level Engineer Job -> Career opportunity with a large engineering company located in Birmingham, AL. This position requires travel as needed within 2 to 4 hours and secondary travel within 6 hours of Birmingham area. Must have BSME or BSMET or other BS Engineering degree or equivalent may be acceptable. Supporting the southeastern region within power plant environments. Any knowledge of power plant electrostatic precipitators is helpful. Any major retrofit project experience is a plus. Providing in-service inspections, diagnose performance and suggest corrective action for deficiencies. Must have willingness to learn, and not afraid to work in power plant environment. Not afraid to get dirty crawling around plant equipment. Must have understanding of AC/DC theory. Possess basic mechanical aptitude. Certified Welding Inspector License is a plus. Must be able to mobilize on short notice and prepared to work long hours for extended periods. Some overtime and excellent benefits available.
