Entry Level Chemist -2nd shift

Excellent opportunity available for an Entry-level Chemistry graduate with a leader in the manufacture of cosmetic / personal care products located in the Los Angeles area!


*******This is a 2nd shift, Tuesday-Saturday shift********


Conduct analytical chemical and organoleptic analysis and disposition of raw materials, bulk compounds and finished products in compliance with GMP and the company's standards for quality.

Perform wet chemical and instrument analysis

Perform routine maintenance and calibration of instruments and laboratory equipment.

Utilize computer systems in analyses and inventory status management.

Prepare specifications and procedure documents associated with laboratory activities.

Manage routine systems including retain, sample control, bulk product release, and workflow.

Train technicians in routine procedures and methods.

Experience:

BS degree in Chemistry or related field from a four-year college or university.

Strong wet chemistry skills

Any experience with analytical instrumentation such as HPLC, GC and IR is ideal though not required
