Engineering Support Specialist

This job requires assistance with tests performed in the Warrenville Hydraulics Testing Laboratory. The lab consists of a variety of water tanks and recirculation loops to measure head loss and debris transport across various strainer configurations. The tests are performed to support the commercial nuclear industry. Duties include preparing prototype test rigs, equipment maintenance, housekeeping, and general light duty administrative support such as inspection, shipping/receiving, materials handling, and general laboratory support.
REQUIREMENTS
Requires High School or GED; technical school preferred. Candidates must be familiar working in a highly fast paced testing environment. Candidate must possess strong mechanical aptitude; experience with carpentry and with various power tools is highly desired. We seek individuals who are effective team players and can multi-task several activities, including ability to lift or carry objects in excess of 20 pounds. We seek a highly dependable and flexible person to work early morning or late evening hours to meet the scheduled tests.
