Director of Programs
1) Responsible for the performance of all teams reporting through the Associate Directors, in both effectiveness and efficiency. Monitor, coach, develop and support teams through Associate Directors.
2) Develop performance metrics for teams supervised.
3) Direct preparation of short-term and long-term plans and budgets. Monitors plans and budgets and adjusts accordingly.
4) Insure effective and efficient service delivery processes for current activities and activities related to projected growth.
5) Ensure all organizational activities and operations are carried out in compliance with CARF, DMH, OHSA, DOL, HIPAA and other regulatory requirements.
6) Ensure adequate management development and provides for capable management succession.
7) This position reports directly to the VP of Operations; they directly manage 4 Associate Directors and indirectly manage up to 250 employees.
8) Full benefits package including medical, dental, paid time off (15 days per year), life insurance, 401k matching program.
9) VP of Operations; CEO are next levels above this position.
10) West caseload is about 120 people - day programs and residential – all clients.
11) Position can be challenging in learning the different regional centers and their different ways of conducting business; learning how to partner with HR as a team to adequately maintain staffing ratios, new budgeting system and dealing with many different aspects of management and employee work styles.

REQUIREMENTS
-Bachelor's degree in Human Services Agency Management or related degree from an accredited university or college.
-Six or more years managing personnel and/or directing a team of at least 20 persons.
-Six or more years developing and monitoring a budget.
-Six or more years working with individuals with cognitive, intellectual, and other developmental disabilities (MR/DD).
-Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. -Proficient writing, speaking and communications skills in English.
-Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, family / guardians.
-Able to perform routine math functions.
-Able to solve complex problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
-Able to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
