Compliance Associate (Entry-Level)

The D. E. Shaw group, a highly successful investment and technology development firm, seeks an intelligent, resourceful, and motivated individual to assist with a broad range of compliance functions. Primary responsibilities include restricted activity monitoring and reporting, assisting with special projects and research, maintenance of compliance databases and files, and providing general office help.
The ideal candidate will be motivated and organized with strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, a rigorous work ethic, and a genuine interest in compliance. The ability to work well both independently and in teams is a must, as is a talent for multitasking. B.A. or B.S. degree required; prior administrative experience a plus.
