Position Description
The Apostolic Christian Home of Eureka currently has opening for CNAs in our special care 22 bed Alzheimer’s unit. We have a close knit group of CNA’s working together in this unit who are responsible for the overall well being of these residents. We are looking for caring individuals to join their team.
CNA Responsibilities
Assist residents to perform ADL's (Activities of Daily Living) including bathing, dressing, toileting, skin care etc.
Assist in the dining room including feeding residents who need help
Make beds, clean bedside tables, drawers, bedrails etc. as needed
Maintain residents in correct and comfortable position
Report any changes in resident conditions to the charge nurse
Answer call lights
Chart required information accurately and as instructed
Maintain confidentiality of all patient care information
Assist residents to walk with or without assistive devices as necessary
All other duties as assigned
About Apostolic Christian Home of Eureka

The Apostolic Christian Home of Eureka is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. We opened in January of 1966 with 62 beds and our mission and goal since that time has been to provide a pleasant Christian environment for the elderly to live in their latter years. We have grown over the years and are now licensed for 119 beds including skilled, intermediate and sheltered care. We are also licensed for Medicare and Medicaid. We operate a 22 bed Alzheimer’s unit that has been in operation since 1994.
