The position is located in: Arlington Heights; IL

The National Sales Education Center (NSEC)is a part of Home Office Distribution Support. The center, located in Arlington Heights, IL (11 mile west of the Northbrook Home Office campus) provides onsite education to new Exclusive Agents and new Exclusive Financial Specialist candidates, Field Sales Leadership and Licensed and Appointed Agency staff. This is a centralized training facility that serves all Allstate Regions.

The scope of this job is to facilitate education and skills development in a classroom environment for agency management and sales process development. This is done using a specified curriculum delivered in a professional manner while drawing on prior sales and business experience. Instructors also assist in the development and enhancement of curriculum as needed.

The individual will be responsible for delivery of:

1. Agent candidate education in a classroom environment. This includes EA Agent candidates, R3000 agents and Outside Buyers of agencies.
2. Exclusive Financial Specialist candidate education. This is in a classroom environment and in small group skill building sessions.
3. Field Distribution Leader (MDL, NAC, AC, MDA) education at an introduction and advanced level. This is in a classroom environment and in small group skill building sessions.
4. Licensed and Appointed Agency Staff education. This is in a classroom environment and in small group skill building sessions.

In addition, the individual will have additional responsibilities such as:
1. Development, enhancement and evaluation of education material.
2. Other elective educational events as needed.
3. Project Management and or operational responsibility at the NSEC or in conjunction with Home Office

REQUIREMENTS
The skills required are:

1. Intermediate - Agency prospecting and sales skills in Property & Casualty and
Financial Services.
2. Intermediate - Classroom facilitation
3. Intermediate - Delivery of prescribed education in a classroom setting
4. Intermediate - Communication and public speaking
5. Intermediate - Writing and editing skills

Experience Required:
Agency sales experience (preferred)
Financial and life products experience (preferred)
Allstate Field Distribution experience (preferred).

Computer Proficiency:
Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on PowerPoint, Word and Outlook. FSN/FLN financial applications
