ASSISTANT MANAGER- NEW POSITION

In the Lehigh Valley Link Beverages is the Top cigar retailer and one of the top 5 retail beverage distributors. Link offers customers a very unique environment in that they educate customers on the hundreds of brands of cigars and beer that they sell and are the ONLY store that offers four types of beer samplings daily! That is right…customers get to try their beer before they buy!

In this position you will assist the store manager in a variety of duties including:
•Customer service
•Ordering of inventory
•Conducting of inventory
•Assist with managing staff of 3-4 employees
•Basic mechanical functions
•Building displays
•Operating a forklift
•Basic upkeep with cleanliness of the store
•Loading and unloading trucks and loading customers cars
•General assistance with running the store
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:
•All candidates MUST be able to lift KEGS up to 175 lbs. independently
•History of steady work- verifiable work references
•Strong math skills
•Exceptional skills in dealing with customers
•Strong desire to learn- must learn about large variety of beer and cigars
•Hours are 40+ hours weekly- 6 days a week- closed on Sundays
•Bulk of hours are between 1pm to 8:30 or 9:30pm
•Must pass a criminal background check and general credit check
•Must be willing to sign a non-compete agreement
