HAMILTON COMPANY, a manufacturer of precision fluid measuring devices, located in the Reno/Tahoe, NV area, is accepting applications for the following positions:

SOFTWARE and FIRMWARE ENGINEERS
Entry to Senior level Engineers with Windows (using C++, C#, MFC, .NET, and COM/ATL) or embedded C programming experience in a multi-threaded environment. Should be self starter capable of workign with minimal supervision as well as being a solid team player; Candidate should have excellent written and verbal skills; experience in full life cycle development model: Requirements analysis, design documentation, ISO9001 standards required. Bachelor‘s degree in computer science or related field is required.

R&D Mechanical Engineers
Position requires Product Development experience, knowledge of process capability, materials, troubleshooting aptitude and understanding of fluidics. Data acquisition experience, ability to use machine tools and medical or scientific industry experience preferred. BS/ME Degree, Min 2 years experience. CAD experience required.

Manufacturing Engineer
Complex medical fluid handling instrument assembly and testing. Devise assembly flow lines for build-to-order robotic instruments; build workstations, design and build functional test fixtures, assembly tools using six-sigma techniques and lean manufacturing principles; project engineering skills desired to transition product designs from R&D into production. Knowledge of electro-mechanical mechanisms containing PCBs, sensors, small motors, firmware, etc is necessary to support production personnel with resolving non-conformances and affecting process improvements. CAD experience, knowledge of GMP, IVD standards and experience in working in FDA-regulated ISO-9001 environemnt is a plus. (BSME, BSEE).
