iDEN Electrical Engineer

Department Description: Product Development

Responsibilities/Expectations: Digital/RF design/development of iDEN cellular phones. Perform circuit/system level optimization of RF/Digital circuit blocks including Receivers, Transmitters, FGU, Power Distribution, Microprocessor. Define requirements/specifications and carry out modeling, simulation/test analysis to the designs. Other responisbilities include Component selection/evaluation/qualification, Product factory introduction/yield improvements, Field testing/resolution to design issues.^^

Knowledge Skills: Master/Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
Fresh graduates with a good honors degree are encouraged to apply. Familiarity with at least one of the following subject matters is desirable : S-parameters/matching, Power distribution/management, Digital, Microprocessors, Memories, Receivers, Transmitters, FGU (Frequency Generation Unit), LCD, Audio, HPVee/Labview, Mentor Graphics, ADS or RF test equipment. Must possess good written and oral communication skills in English. Team player. Must be able to handle tasks in parallel.
Willing to make frequent trips to US and/or China.
Candidates with at least 3 years of relevant design experience in the electronics or communication industries will be considered for the Senior Engineer position.
