Process (Quality) Engineer I

A global products/packaging company is seeking a qualified individual for a Process (Quality) Engineer I position located in Northeastern Louisiana. An excellent opportunity offering a talented professional experience in a growing organization. Applicant will be responsible for developing and implementing quality systems which improve product quality and customer satisfaction. Job specifications include: an engineering degree is required with at least 2 years related experience in the folding carton/packaging industry preferred. Applicant must have strong interpersonal, organizational and management skills, must have an in-depth technical understanding of packaging and related fields, strong PC skills required utilitzing Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Access, PowerPoint and Visio proficiency, must have excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal, Project Management experience and Statistical Process Control experience, must be familiar with SAP along with Minitab or have other statistical software experience. Must have a thorough understanding of lean manufacturing principles, 5S, and have a Six Sigma certification at a Green Belt or Black Belt level.
