Writer Job - We have a temp-to-perm opportunity for a Technical Writer 60 miles east of Portland, Oregon. The selected applicant will aid with developing technical documentation of existing products. This person will be responsible for creating, updating and maintaining technical documentation including description of mechanical parts, electronics assemblies, and antenna systems. You will develop, coordinate, review, and maintain technical training materials, as well as operational and maintenance procedures. We are looking for a self motivated person with technical aptitude and the ability to pick up subject quickly and easily. Experience with Microsoft Office and its components is a must. Experience with avionic or antenna based electronics is desired. Familiarity with configuration control of documentation is desired. The ability to read and interpret documents and engineering specifications is required. Local candidates, or candidate capable of relocating at there own expense, are encouraged to apply.
