Wireless Systems Engineer
You will provide technical leadership to sustain engineering functions within a manufacturing facility for a full line of infusion pumps with wireless capabilities. You will with work with R&D, IT, Manufacturing and other engineering functions, to troubleshoot and help resolve complex technical issues to ensure successful transfer of new wireless products from development into production.

In addition, you will be responsible for design or redesign of wireless peripheral board post-launch to address component obsolescence issues and to introduce design improvements over the life cycle of the products. You will also work to resolve wireless networking issues in the manufacturing environment as well as specifying and implementing wireless setups for development and testing purposes as required. Maintaining test scripts used in the manufacturing of the wireless products and providing mentorship to other engineers and taking a leadership role in developing in-house wireless expertise are among other responsibilities. You must have the capability to provide management with system-level view of issues, options and recommendations
and other design or process-related activities not specifically pertaining to wireless technology.
REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in this position, you must possess:

Bachelors Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering is required; Masters Degree is preferred.
Proven track record of outstanding technical problem-solving ability and the willingness to take ownership, and ability to drive issues to complete closure (including proper documentation) is essential.
10 to15 years of related experience with a minimum 5 to 10 years experience in the specification, detailed design, and implementation of embedded systems with wireless capabilities.
Rigorous theoretical understanding of, and extensive hands-on experience with wireless networking standards, issues and solutions.
Knowledge of RF printed circuit board design practices and electrical packaging to meet EMC compliance requirements.
Proficiency in writing or modifying software code for testing and troubleshooting purposes.
Adept in the use of diagnostic and analytical tools, equipment and instrumentation.
Strong project management and interpersonal skills to coordinate cross-functional efforts in resolving process and design issues impacting manufacturability of wireless products.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Prior experience in development of medical devices is preferred.
