Web Application Programmer Analyst

Programmer Analysts for Your Benefits Resource (YBR) are responsible for supporting their clients and contributing to team projects. This includes design, implementation, and ongoing support of YBR Client Solutions.

YBR Programmer Analysts review client requirements and determine detailed tasks required to develop and support the comprehensive YBR system. YBR Programmer Analyst tasks include but are not limited to:
Working with the client team to clarify requirements and improve the YBR client solution.
Customizing base code to meet client requirements while following coding standards.
Performing thorough unit tests and resolving system defects before handing off to Quality Assurance for acceptance testing.
Creating technical documentation including maintaining the customization inventory and providing detailed customization testing information to the client team.
Providing technical support by resolving system defects escalated from the client team.
Supporting the production environment, including monitoring for errors, performing system upgrades, and implementing new client requirements.
Communicating with clients teams status information related to their YBR project.
Balancing priorities across all YBR clients to meet client expectations.

YBR Programmer Analysts participate in YBR Technical Support Team initiatives by:
Reviewing existing processes and programs looking for areas of potential improvement; sharing feedback or ideas for improvement; and when appropriate creating a business case for review as a potential team project.
Leading or contributing to a team project that was initiated by a business case or other team supported initiatives.
Providing internal team support by leveraging specific skills. Examples include being a Functionality Expert, Service Coordinator, CSL / BG Liaison, or Prod Error Team member.
