Water/Wastewater Project Engineer

Gannett Fleming, Inc. is currently seeking a professional Water/Wastewater Project Engineer for its Camp Hill, PA office.

Responsibilities would include: prepare water and/or wastewater system studies, including source of supply, collection, treatment, demands, alternative system improvements, cost estimates, and recommendations; perform conceptual or preliminary design for water/wastewater projects; perform field inspection of wastewater and/or water systems as part of a study or on an annual basis, assess system facilities and operations, and document findings in appropriate reports; prepare PADEP permit applications and PENNVEST or other financial aid applications; submit required reports in support of permit or funding applications; develop and update spreadsheets and tables presenting water and/or wastewater system improvement plans, such as capital improvement plans for multi-year programs; communicate and/or meet with clients to request and obtain data needed to perform studies, design, construction, or operation; present findings to appropriate client audience; and assist Water and Wastewater Practice Project Managers in various tasks related to wastewater and/or water system engineering.
REQUIREMENTS


Candidates must possess a B.S. or M.S. in Civil, Water Resources, or Environmental Engineering along with course work in water/wastewater system planning, hydraulics, hydrology, water quality and treatment, operations, and related subjects. 0 to 5 years experience in wastewater collection and/or treatment and/or water supply, treatment, and/or distribution; An EIT; general computer skills; and strong communication and writing skills are required.
