Johnson County Wastewater is seeking a highly motivated engineering professional to implement existing infrastructure improvement projects and provide technical assistance on water quality issues in a thriving community. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing treatment plant upgrades, providing technical assistance on water quality issues, assisting with technical support on NPDES permits, implementing design improvements to wastewater treatment facilities, and evaluating studies and projects for wastewater treatment plant CIP and R&R projects for compliance with existing and proposed environmental regulations.Key words: engineer, engineering, water, wastewaterSalary: $59,925 - $69,450 yr.; depending on qualifications
REQUIREMENTS
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Master's degree in Civil/Environmental, Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science or a related field is preferred. Professional Engineer’s License is preferred.
A minimum of three years of experience with water/wastewater treatment plant design, project engineer/management or related experience is required.
A minimum of two years with water quality regulations and permitting or related experience is required. Must possess valid driver’s license and a good driving record.Salary: $59,925 - $69,450 yr.; depending on qualifications
