Warehouse Materials Manager

International manufacturer has an excellent opportunity for a Warehouse Materials Manager at our Edison, NJ location. Responsibilities include: All Materials movement and transactions from Receiving, Warehousing and Shipping (Domestic and International), Inventory Accuracy, Cycle Counting, Materials Planning, Coordinating Physical Inventories, Finished Goods Packaging, Material Handling, Purchasing and Customer Service.
REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of Materials Management and Warehousing experience in a high volume progressive manufacturing environment. The candidate will also need to have experience managing a large diverse multi-shift work force in a disciplined organization. This position requires interface with all levels of management, and requires a detail-oriented self-starter with good follow-up skills. The candidate must possess experience in developing and documenting Warehouse Procedures.Candidates must possess a college degree in a suitable field. In addition the candidate must have strong leadership skills, strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast passed goal oriented environment. The ability to multi-task and thrive in a team oriented organization is required. The candidate must also possess strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet and thorough and hands on experience with MRP systems.
