VMware Software Development Engineer

Be a Linux and VMWare expert in a team of software engineers providing code level support for a set of flagship IP-based communication products and solutions. These products and solutions are Linux and VMware based using C, C++, and Perl. The job will provide exiciting technical growth opportunities in the field of VOIP, SIP, and other state-of-art voice and data convergence communication technology. REQUIREMENTS
oBSCS or EE (Master's preferred) with a minimum of 10 years of Systems Level Software Development experience is required.

oExperience developing VMware and Red Hat Linux based products / solutions using C, C++, and Perl is an absolute must.

oRed Hat Linux Kernel and/or Device Driver development experience is required

oProven experience developing and delivering large scale, commercial software products.

oA proven track record of resolving complex technical problems

oMust have excellent communication and customer facing skills

oCertifications in Red Hat Linux or VMware desirable.

oVOIP, SIP, SAN, or IBM Bladecenter experiences desirable.

oMust be a self-starter, possess a can-do attitude and be able to clearly articulate direction and decisions. In addition to displaying a keen sense of ownership, candidate must work effectively as part of a team.
