Utility Project Manager: North, FL

Purpose: Aerotek Energy Services is seeking a Utility Project Manager in our Jacksonville Office to support design of high voltage electrical utility systems. The successful candidate will perform electric utility system designs and planning studies, and provide construction technical support to public utility clients throughout Florida. System designs include overhead and underground transmission and distribution systems, substation/switching stations, and protective relaying and controls. The position minimum requirements include a BS in Electrical Engineering. Florida P.E. or ability to obtain one through reciprocity and 4+ years experience in engineering design of electrical utility systems. Our client utilizes AutoCAD and Microstation; familiarity with these programs and with system modeling software is desirable. AutoCAD/Microstation use, preparing specifications, estimating construction costs, communicating with clients, conferring with other engineers & subconsultants, site investigations and code research are typical daily expectations.
