Utilities Manager

The Printpack Corporate Engineering Department is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Utilities Manager, located in the Atlanta office. This position will report to the Manager of Facilities Improvement and Support. The successful candidate must possess a degree in engineering; have five (5) or more years of energy management experience and proven ability to successfully negotiate with utilities, energy suppliers and Marketers.


REQUIREMENTS


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Collection and analysis of Corporate utility data, including rate analysis and supply details.
Design of data collection installations and upgrades.
Negotiation of energy contracts and coordination of energy supply with potential providers.
Maintain expertise in energy markets and assure reliable supply at minimum cost.
Provide experienced consulting service to the manufacturing facilities in problem identification and problem solving of utility issues.
Manage the implementation of energy projects, which includes controlling costs and schedules.
Analysis and development of CHP projects, fuel options, alternative suppliers and back-up storage.
Assist customers with budgeting for utilities.

Requirements:

B.S. in Electrical, Mechanical or comparable engineering degree required; CEM and PE are preferred.
Utility negotiating experience.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Interpersonal skills.
Computer literacy in PC base applications including Windows, Excel, MS Project, MS Word, and utilities monitoring software.
The ability to work in a team environment.

Strong skills are required in the areas of analyzing, diagnosing, reviewing, evaluating, integrating, coding, estimating, implementing, coordinating, appraising, evaluating, deciding, calculating and using tools.
