Unix SUPPORT for Sys administrator

Job Title - Info. Security Analyst
This is a support position with some SYS ADMIN task work.
Priority order of O/S Experience:

Linux
Solaris
HPUX
AIX

Years of experience - probably 2 - 3 years minimum working with Unix/Linux.

Must be able to start no later than 10/09/2006.-CONTRACT TO HIRE.(HIGH POTENTIALFOR THE RIGHT FIT AFTER 6 MONTHS)-

Required Skill Set:

Proven "Systems Support or "Systems Operator" Level experience (including shell scripting capability) on Red Hat/SuSE Linux, HPUX, Solaris and AIX.
extensive knowledge of UNIX/Linux account creation and admin - must understand purpose of UID, GID, Home Directory path, GECOS field, default shell, etc...
experience supporting and/or using OpenSSH or a commercial SSH Server product on Unix/Linux
experience using PuTTY or equivalent SSH client software on Windows,
willingness and desire to work on varied tasks - technical troubleshooting, server O/S installs, documentation, coordination, user support, shell scripting, etc...
Skills that would be a Plus:

- conceptual knowledge of Kerberos or GSS-API

- experience with VAS (Vintela Authentication Service)

- experience with NIS authentication system on Unix

- experience with Remedy or equivalent change/problem management software

- experience with VMWare

This position is responsible for UnixSecure Support - supporting customers and the developer for a Active Directory Kerberos based Secure Single Sign On solution for Unix/Linux.

The candidate must be have strong knowledge of supporting Unix/Linux Operating Systems with a focus on user account management or administration.
