Job Description: * Transmission Engineer. Responsible for technical oversight and review of project engineering work performed by external resources in support of the development and implementation of transmission line projects through the Corporation’s Public Planning & Asset Delivery process and includes communicating technical requirements to external engineering consultants, interfacing with consultants throughout project engineering activities, reviewing work to verify compliance of consultant’s deliverables with Corporation standards and practices, and providing technical support to project management personnel.

Qualifications: *BS in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering and 4+years experience in the design of HV or EHV electric power systems, including T&D, Substation or overhead and underground Transmission lines is required. Proven ability to effectively manage engineering contracts including project deliverables, contract terms and conditions and technical content is preferred. Must possess effective communications and interpersonal skills and demonstrate leadership skills in a technically oriented group.
