Tester/Technician

Purpose: There is an opening at a Georgetown company for a tester/technician. Some of the essential duties and responsibilities include:

*Read work orders, test manuals, performance specifications and schematics to determine testing procedure and equipment to be used.

*Inspect and adjust minute parts, using unaided vision and microscopes.

*Operate burn-in oven to control temperature during testing.

*Test functional performance of systems, subassemblies, and parts under specified environmental conditions such as temperature change, vibration, pressure, and humidity.

*Calibrate and connect test equipment according to specifications.

*Read dials or digital displays that indicate electronic characteristics such as voltage, frequency, distortion, inductance, capacitance and resistance.

*Compare results with specifications and record test data and plot test results on graph.

In addition to the above requirements candidate must have the minimum of a high school education and one year related experience.Classification:Contract-to-HireCompensation:
