Test Engineer (5057p)

A Madison, WI technology company in the industrial market is seeking a Test Engineer to join its development team. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with a competitive salary. As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for testing products before release and designing test platforms. You will also work with applications engineers to characterize our client's products using different industrial protocols and provide developers with critical feedback on product improvement. REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will understand Ethernet networks, have strong analytical skills, and is interested in joining a team of developers working on industrial wireless Ethernet products. Well qualified candidates should be familiar with Ethernet networking and protocols, capabale of writing simple C++ and Windows programs for analyzing data and automating tests and should ideally be familiar wtih industrial networking protocols. Knowledge of Labview is also a plus.
