Telecommunications Asst Manager (AVAYA)

Highly successful technology company seeking an Assistance Manager of Telecommunications capable of providing effective Project Management and Technical leadership for Voice Communications. Candidate must have in-depth experience with AVAYA PBX technology and technical design expertise across all voice related platforms.

The Assistant Telecommunications Manager will provide technical direction for technical design, complex problem resolution and for implementation directives. Responsible for mentoring technical staff to ensure continue skill-set improvements. Will also assist in directing the daily operational management of telecom staff for various related facilities.

In-depth engineering experience with AVAYA PBX is a must (seeking minimum of 7-10 years AVAYA), including AVAYA G3R and 8700 experience; AVAYA CMS / voice mail / recorders / dialers / call accounting / data networking Strong experience with technical design across all voice related platforms Solid Project and people management abilities Proven ability to assist in day to day operational management of telecom staff Proven ability to maintain daily technical disciplines across a broad range of complex telephony platforms. BS, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Engineering or similar. Local to Providence RI, southern Boston or specific interest in relocaiton to this area.
