Technical Writer - Fun Project

We are looking for a talented Technical Writer for a project in Rosemead. Technical Writer with be responsible for creating Policies & Procedures. Develops, writes, revises, prepares for publication, and updates operational procedures for Energy Efficiency Programs, ensuring compliance with applicable government regulations and program policies.


Requirements:

Degree is preferred but not required. 2-3 years experience in writing operational policies and procedures.Strong proficiency with MS Word. Fair proficiency with other Microsoft Office applications (Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Lotus Notes experience helpful but not required.Excellent grammar, writing, editing skills, and interviewing skills. Must use format and styles already established, but will have opportunities for creativity.Detail-oriented with ability to observe activities and conduct interviews to ensure complete and accurate documentation.Ability to work independently on multiple projects, with limited supervision, to meet established deadlines. Understand the necessity to keep management informed on status of projects and notify management at the earliest signs of delay.Able to work with others in team environment and willing to contribute ideas and assistance when needed.
