Technical Specialist II

Experienced Contract Mechanical/Structural Design Engineer needed to meet extensive and diversified engineering requirements in the Service environment, involving major alterations of a wide variety of aircraft models. Will be responsible for independently conceiving, planning and executing designs of considerable scope and complexity regarding cabin interior refurbishments and avionics alterations. Will need to demonstrate creativity, resourcefulness, foresight, multitasking ability and mature engineering judgement in anticipating and solving complex problems on one or more concurrent projects. Make decisions and recommendations that are recognized as authoritative and have important impact on engineering activities while meeting aggressive project budget and schedule limitations. Be good communciator and team player, able to interface easily with Production personnel to collect information regarding aircraft configuration and shop producability/installation limitations, and to provide liaison support once designs have been developed.Job Requirements
Minimum of 10 years experience in Mechanical/Structural/Interior design engineering, preferably on a variety of business jet aircraft models (Gulfstream, Challenger, Falcon, Hawker). Bachelors degree required or substantial experience record including various long-term positions under degreed engineering supervision or FAA oversight. Experience meeting FAR 25 requirements desirable. Must be highly proficient using Autocad.
