Overview
FX Front Office technology is part of the Global FX technology within CIB Technology.
This position is for a full-time employee with in the Orion FX Sales team.
Orion FX Sales team provides technology solutions to the Global Foreign Exchange Salestraders, Marketmakers as well as FX Primebrokerage users. Responsibilities:
Analyze, design and develop, implement, support Global FX(Foreign Exchange) sales as well as trading applications.
Work with FX business/technology stakeholders to provide technolgy solutions that business can benefit from
Communicate with peers and management on technology solutions, risks and innovative ideas.
Provide client focused (24x7 or appropriate) production support to FX business applications.
Follow the Software Development Life Cycle process as well as CIB Tech standard development practices.
REQUIREMENTS
Specifications / Qualifications
BS/MS degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience;
9+ years of software design and development experience;
Strong technical skills in Java Swing, Java/J2EE Framework, IONA ORBIX, TIBCO RV/EMS, Weblogic.
Proficiency in database like Sybase or Oracle.
Working knowledge of UNIX development environment as well as automated build tools on UNIX.
Must have working knowledge of source code control tools like CVS
Familiarity with the JProbe/OptimizeIt as well as other performance management tools.
Must have working knowledge of source code control tools such as CVS
Candidate should also possess strong analytical, problem solving, verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to multitask, work independently and within a team.
Strong leadership and communication skills in working with development teams is highly desired;
Knowledge of Fixed Income as well as other Financial instruments and related systems will be a plus./ gj-hh
