Purpose of position
The Artesia Digital Media Group Professional Services team is responsible for working with customers to define and architect a results oriented DAM solutions based on Artesia’s leading software product, Artesia DAM. Artesia’s diverse customer base provides exposure to the creative side of companies and their workflows. Artesia has deep experience and a focus in Media and Entertainment, Corporate Marketing, and Federal/Nonprofit.
The Senior Technical Solutions Engineer is involved in all phases of a DAM implementation project including analysis, design, JAVA development, and prototype development leveraging the latest technologies and frameworks. Professional Services engagements also include working with a variety of rich media formats including audio, video, graphics, and photography. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of programming experience with demonstrated skills in analytical problem solving environments, excellent communication skills, and feel comfortable interacting with customers and partners.
REQUIREMENTS
Mandatory Requirements
· 4+ years of hands-on experience with JAVA programming
· Hands on Unix and database SQL skills
· Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills
· Demonstrated effectiveness in project efforts in terms of quality, timeliness, initiative, motivation and team interaction
· Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally
· Work ethic for a greater than 40 hour work week
· Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or MIS
Desirable Requirements
· Consulting experience in diverse technology and business environments
· Leadership experience
· Experience with one or more of the following technologies: Java/J2EE, JSPs, Servlets, Web Services, Oracle RDBMS, MS SQL Server, Web/Application Server, Unix/Windows
· Understanding and experience with all aspects of Software Development Lifecycle
· Government clearance

Academic
Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or MIS
Work Environment
General office environment. However, work outside of these hours may be necessary due to project schedules, and deadlines. Travel is required.
