Technical Sales Representative (HI&I Specialty Chemicals)

Outside Sales Representative

Lambent Technologies, a rapidly growing Division of Petroferm, Inc. is seeking an experienced Chemical Sales Professional in the Mid-Atlantic area. The sales representative will be responsible for HI&I technical sales and territory growth in several surrounding states while providing customers with technical support for our specialty chemical product lines, which include surfactants, emulsifiers, and specialty waxes.
Key Responsibilities
Create and maintain sales and gross margin growth in the assigned territory.
Develop the customer base, manage and train key distributors and monitor customer satisfaction through regular site visits.
Provide feedback to Marketing Group on disposition and quality of leads from advertising, product releases, trade shows and other promotions.
Strategical manage our key customers and technically sell the benefits of our products to current and new accounts.
Travel is approximately 35%.

Our Industrial Products Division provides ingredients used in products including plastics and polymers, lubricants, personal care products, food, and household and institutional cleaners. REQUIREMENTS
The qualified candidate will have the following:

Minimum of BS in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry.
Must have 3+ years direct experience in specialty chemical sales preferably for an HI&I company or to the HI&I industry. Personal care industry experience acceptable.
Proven track record and business relationships within key markets, preferably in the HI&I areas or Personal Care.
Successful track record of developing new accounts and promoting new products.
Must possess excellent sales, business management, and communication skills and reside within the Mid-Atlantic territory .
