Technical Resources Engineer

An Aerospace Technical Service Organization has an opening for a Technical Resources Engineer based out of their Regional Office in Bedford, TX.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:
1. Technical writing and development of Project Plans, Work Instructions, and Forms.
2. Providing technical support to company executives during Customer Visits, Sales Presentations, and Contract Awards.
3. Technical screening and interviewing of potential candidates to support the selection process for technology projects.
4. Developing and implementing training courses on a variety of technology and engineering subject matters.
5. Providing ongoing technical liaison with internal and external customers covering multiple projects in various industrial disciplines
6. Conducting reviews of project performance and results both in-house and at customer locations
7. Remaining current in technical aspects of position through attendance of training, seminars and conferences
8. Providing internal and external technical leadership throughout the organization
REQUIREMENTS
Required Skills

The ideal candidate must possess the following skills, attributes, and experience:
• A degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent industry experience. Industry recognized certifications (CQE, CQA etc.) would be advantageous.
• Preferred Background: Ten plus years experience in Aerospace Technology / Manufacturing Industries and five plus years experience in Supplier Quality. Source Inspection or Quality Engineering experience extremely beneficial.
• Experience in developing training materials and instructing personnel with different learning modalities.
• Experience with supply chain management and supplier quality control principals.
• Advanced Working Knowledge of Windows-based software including MS Excel, MS Internet (browsers), MS Power Point, MS Word and MS Visio
• High Level of Written and Oral Communications Skills including technical writing
• Team oriented and leadership skills; able to exercise judgment and work independently; international and intercultural experience; ability to travel; a self-starter and able to “make things happen”.

A valid driver’s license must be maintained and local candidates are preferred. Candidates must be willing to travel both in the US and internationally up to 25%. A current passport must be held.
