JOB TITLE: Horizon Clinicals, Technical Implementation Engineer
___________________________________________________________________JOB SUMMARY:
The Technical Implementation Engineer will provide on-site and remote technical consulting support for the implementation of Horizon Clinicals clinical software (Orders Management and Expert Orders) at customer sites. With some supervision, coordinates multiple concurrent implementation projects and functions as primary technical customer contact to the customer Project Team. Experience in System Administration including external Storage Area Networks (SAN), Oracle database maintenance, Wireless and Wired Networks administration a definite plus.
Qualified candidates will have the following:
________________________________________________________________________ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:1.Responsible for the design and maintenance of Infrastructure Hardware and Networks that support the Clinicals infrastructure. This includes UNIX, Linux, and Windows platforms with a good knowledge and use of UNIX and Linux command line utilities.2. Demonstrate a working knowledge of Oracle database concepts and assist with Oracle database deployments. Also needs to be proficient with the use of SQLPlus.3.A working knowledge of wired and wireless networks is preferred.4.Responsible for monitoring, documenting, troubleshooting the horizon Clinicals Infrastructure hardware and software.5.Ability to demonstrate strong analytical and technical skills.6.Demonstrates ?good judgment?. Ability to prioritize technical issues and escalate issues where appropriate.7.Provide ?hands on? technical interface development assistance and knowledge for a multi-hospital environment.8.Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.9.Demonstrate computer literacy as it relates to the Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project.10.Perform all other duties, as required.ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:Experience:
2-3 years of Unix/Linux System Administration development and support experience.
Experience with SQL and Oracle database
Has experience in managing enterprise hardware.
Experience working with Storage Area Networks (SAN).Education/Training: Bachelor degree or equivalent years of experience required. General experience on HP, or IBM, or Linux operating systems a plus.Specialized Knowledge & Skills: Technical knowledge of system administration, networking, and data storage required.LOCATION:
