Technical Consultant

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Responsible for pre-sales applications problem solving.
2. Responsible for conducting customer demonstrations involving simulations and Int Arch. Delivery of "On Tour" events. Also responsible for maintaining demo equipment.
3. When not on the customer site, responsible for answering technical inquiries from customers via telephone, as well as project quotes and proposals.
4. When appropriate, responsible for coordinating the participation of the GSS on customer sales calls.
5. Responsible for keeping the Sales force and Area Managers up to date on customer contacts made and the resolution of any applications problems.
6. Support Area Manager in updating sales force, distributor specialists, distributors and customers on new products.
7. Focus on all aspects of "Keep" activities necessary to drive strategic sales growth of the Louisville Branch.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor degree in engineering or other related technical field.
Previous work experience in design, manufacturing or applications of Programmable Logic Controller, Drives, Communications, LANS, personal computers, safety, industrial componenets is highly desirable.
